Excellent prices and top quality. I use the GFS pickups in most of my guitars.

I've used Musician's Friend(musiciansfriend.com) for my very few musical purchases. A friend had recommended them to me. They are great, and I think they are in California, so we get the stuff even faster. If one is in Ca.
I'm actually finna look in my musician's friends catalogues, they send out good color catalogues snail mail, for free.
I'm looking to buy a better guitar than the green "Pieceo'Crappio" I am
playing now.
Musician's friend frequently has these cool deals where they'll throw in a free guitar case, etc. I
want something decent. I'm done with hundred dollar guitars.
Maybe if I were just tinkering around, ok. But I write songs.I need something that sounds good, fits my girly hands and the strings aren't 6 inches away from the neck.
Sorry for going on. This is a good blog forum here.

From Pete Townshend's TBWHM blog today:

I use Sibelius. But I also use the notation side of Digital Performer when I want to work within a MIDI framework. For live audio, a programme that is terrific for divining notation is Melodyne. It is expensive but incredibly powerful. The current version is monophonic. But you can sing a melody into it, and once you have put in the key, it will create a music chart from what you have sung, as well as allow you to edit the notes you have sung. It will create the same kind of music chart 'top line' from a guitar solo, it is especially good at interpreting long slurs. It would even work for slide Trombone.
